"Noise show-stopper values"

Noise show-stopper values

Floor noise

At high frequencies the antenna-referred floor noise should be below 1.00e-16.$\left[ \frac{V^2}{m\,Hz}\right]$

from this, we obtain the maximum vale $S_{vMax}$ of $S_v$ as:

\begin{equation} S_{vMax}=2.5 \cdot 10^{-17}\,\left[ \mathrm{\frac{V^{2}}{Hz}}\right] \end{equation}

This can be written as: 5.00e-9$\left[ \frac{V}{\sqrt{Hz}}\right]$.

Low-frequency noise

At low frequencies the input-referred current noise of the active antenna is the dominant noise source. At low frequencies we have:

\begin{equation} S_{A}=\frac{2.398 \cdot 10^{21} S_{i}}{f^{2}}\,\left[ \mathrm{\frac{V^{2}}{Hz m}}\right] \end{equation}

The maximum value $S_{iMax}$ of $S_i$ is obtained as:

\begin{equation} S_{iMax}=1.668 \cdot 10^{-27}\,\left[ \mathrm{\frac{A^{2}}{Hz}}\right] \end{equation}

This can be written as: 4.08e-14$\left[ \frac{A}{\sqrt{Hz}}\right]$.
