At the beginning of the course, the application specification of an active antenna twill be presented.
During the course the design of this active antenna will be discussed step-by-step.
Motivation of the design steps, their underlying theory and application to other designs will be elucidated.
Examples and exercises will help the participants to understand the design steps and their interaction.
The course will be concluded with an exam or an oral defense of a design.
Students need to prepare the lecture as follows:
Students work in groups on a homework quiz. Results should be entered in Brightspace before the next lecture.
The quizzes will be graded with pass/fail. Passing enough quizzes gives acces to an oral (group) exam, in which the design of the active antenna is defended.
